Dr. Valentine Sviatocha (aka Dr. Valentine)

Dr. Valentine was born in Ukraine and spent his youth with his family in Israel. After migrating to the US, he completed his undergraduate BA at the prestigious Northwestern University. He attended the renowned New York University College of Dentistry because of his desire to receive medical care, and there he received training from some of the best clinicians in the nation. During his dental training, he joined the Navy as an officer. He graduated dental school in 2011 in the top 5% of his class, after which he transitioned to active duty service and completed a 1-year rigorous Advance Education in General Dentistry Residency.

While in the service, Dr. Valentine pursued an additional year of oral surgery training, where he learned complicated extraction techniques and trauma management. He was forward deployed as a division officer and a solo dentist to a crew of 1200 sailors and 700 marines onboard USS Bonhomme Richard, stationed in Japan. It was during this two-year deployment that he fell in love with Endodontics (root canal therapy), as he witnessed firsthand the tremendous benefits of maintaining infection-free dentition.

In 2019, Dr. Valentine graduated from the prestigious specialty training program at UCSF in San Francisco. Exposure to world-class guest lecturers and mentors and attending conferences and professional symposiums all helped shape Dr. Valentine as a well-rounded clinician. Dr. Valentine believes in providing predictable, efficient and comfortable care, which is only possible with the highest levels of clinical excellence gained during his training. The highlights of his time at UCSF were volunteering for the campus community care clinics and training dental students and residents in proper techniques and theories of endodontics.

Dr. Valentine has practiced as a root canal specialist in the greater Bay Area and Sacramento since 2019. He lives in the East Bay with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys running, spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants, and watching movies.
